Library Card FAQs
Residents of Little Falls, or anyone who owns real property in Little Falls, may apply for a library card in person, at the library. Proof of residency or ownership is required. Minors (under 18 years of age) must have a parent or guardian present to sign their application and present appropriate identification.
Please note that, while individuals may qualify for more than one library card, PALS Plus permits only one card per person in its system. It is recommended that individuals sign up and use their resident card, as it will provide greater access to general services.
Non-Residents who work or attend school (K-12) in Little Falls may apply for a courtesy card. Proof of employment or enrollment along with proof of current addrss is required. A courtesy card is good for one year.
Other non-residents may purchase a card for $50 per year. Non-Resident cards are only valid at the Little Falls Public Library, and may only check out materials from the Little Falls Public Library.
Resident Little Falls Library cards are valid at all active PALS Plus libraries! Residents over the age of 19 can also use their Little Falls Library cards at the following colleges:
- Montclair State University
- Passaic County Community College
- William Paterson University
Non-Resident and Courtesy Cards are only valid at the Little Falls Public Library, and may only check out materials from the Little Falls Public Library.
